Mentally Ill Homeless And Companion Pets
relationship between owner and pet was analyzed in terms of the level of bond that is shared as well as the reasons why a homeless person benefits from having a pet. Another component that was studied was whether having a pet can become a liability and barrier to the homeless person in receiving medical treatment or housing assistance.
